Makeup helps in enhancing the beauty of an woman if applied properly. As every woman loves to look beautiful, every woman at some stage tries the makeup which can be a disaster if not applied properly.
Ladies, these are some makeup mistakes which you can avoid.
1. Concealer is used under eyes to hide the dark circles and spots, pimples on the face. But the under eye concealer should be lighter in shade than the skin tone while the concealer for hiding the spots and pimples should be of the same shade as skin tone which if not followed will highlight the spots and pimples instead of hiding them.
2. Another mistake which we all do is the incorrect application of compact powder. Many of us apply compact powder all over the face, but the correct way is to apply it in the T-zone and blending it all over the face with a makeup brush or sponge. As the T-zone is oily in dry and mixed skin types, it is better to just apply on the T-zone alone for these two skin types and for oily skin the compact powder can be applied all over the face,neck starting with T-zone.
3. The common mistake which we do is while filling in the eyebrows. Usually a single color is used to fill the eyebrows which may make them look unnatural especially if the eyebrows are thin. The correct way is to use lighter and darker shades. Use the darker shade to create a shape using an angled wand use the lighter shade to fill the rest of the eyebrows. Using an eyebrow brush, blend both the shades to give them a natural look.
4. One of the common makeup mistakes is to apply the lipstick directly on the lips. Prior to applying makeup apply some moisturizer to the lips and let it sink in for few minutes before applying the lipstick. This helps the lipstick to last longer and as well as gives a smooth finish to the lips.
5. Another common mistake is the incorrect application of blush. The blush should not be overdone and should be applied properly on the cheeks as shown in the picture based on the shape of the face. The correct way is to dab some blush on the cheeks and blend it towards the temples with a makeup brush.
