While most of us stuck to the usual ethnic wears for Ugadi, actress Priyanka Jawalkar opted for a half saree that was traditional yet very contemporary.
Her brick red outfit was by Shravankumar, who has mastered the art of mixing modern styles with handloom weaves.
While the floor-length pleated lehenga features a pink border with peacock motifs in gold, the v bottomed choli is plain. However, the choli does bear pink piping all over its hem to match the lehenga. The dupatta in a brown shade also features a pink border. Due to its unique make, the outfit can be worn with or without a dupatta.
We also loved how Priyanka decided to ditch the regular jewellery. In fact, she accesorized the outfit with a contemporary copper-coin studded choker and some glass bangles in green. Natural makeup with matching eye shadow, Kohl rimmed eyes and nude lips completed the look.
