Designed by none other than the award-winning costume designing duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, this movie is a haute couture dream. It revolves around the lives of four young women who are the best of friends. They each have their own individual style, which makes the movie all the more interesting. Kalindi Puri ( Kareena Kapoor)
A free-spirited bride-to-be and fashionista, Kalindi’s Veere Di Wedding fashion included casual and relaxed silhouettes, basic tees, boots and bohemian wear. Kalindi’s drool-worthy wedding dress – an off-shoulder yellow lehenga in the movie is enough reason to watch Veere Di Wedding. The outfit is a 25 year old vintage piece and Kareena looks fabulous in it. She also had many other breathtaking looks like the pastel blue star embellishment gown and the cape-style mirror work blouse with lehenga.
Avni Sharma (Sonam Kapoor)
The Bollywood queen of fashion did not fail to impress with her elegant and preppy close in Veere Di Wedding. Her polished and put-together character gave plenty of glamorous looks and inspiration. Her pink lehenga paired with a matching bralette blouse, which she wore for Kalindi’s sangeet in the movie was every bit stunning.
Meera Singh (Shikha Talsania)
Another reason to love this movie – body positivity. Shikha plays the character of a new mom and proved that a few extra pounds have got nothing to do with the way you dress. In the film, she’s seen wearing flattering fit and flare and A-line dresses. The metallic silver off-shoulder dress with asymmetrical hemline that she wore in the Phuket scene is one to look out for. And her black bomber jacket with floral print was yet another one of the best Veere Di Wedding fashion moments.
Sakshi Soni (Swara Bhaskar)
Sakshi is a young woman with an ever-changing mood, so her costumes reflect what she’s feeling on that particular day. With a little bit of edginess and a lot of glam, she never fails to make a statement. Her mirror work lehenga with a thigh-high slit paired with a denim jacket was a definite show-stopper. Also, the heavily embellished lehenga with the ruffled blouse, which she wore at Avni’s wedding function was just as gorgeous.
