Traditional sarees and saree draping styles are quite innovative. Most of them are very different from each other as the region changes. However, some are famous all over India and Navvari is one of them. A native to Maharashtra, this one is nine yards and is opted by many for special occasions. Actress Genelia Deshmukh decided to wrap around a red saree by Ishita Singh for the promotion of “Ved.”

The saree is plain in nature but the border is detailed with solid zari in triangular patches. The pallu also takes after the border and is paired with a royal blue blouse. Unlike the saree, the blouse is worked with cut dana work.
She styled the look with a pair of pearl studded bangles, a ring and a nathni by Karishma Joolry, Kankshini Studio. We also loved her pair of silver sandals by Aparjita Toor. Blow-dried loose hair, kohl-rimmed eyes, a bindi and nude lips elevated the look.
