The Padma awards are conferred upon the people of India for their prolific contribution towards their respective domains. Last day, this year’s award ceremony was held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the capital of New Delhi. Actress Kangana Ranaut was one of the recipients who was given the Padmashree in Performing Arts. For the event, the actress chose to go with an ivory saree by Sabyasachi.

The saree has its body beautified with floral buttis that are embroidered in a shade darker than itself. Moreover, its hemline showcases intricate beads and sequin work in gold on it. She paired it with a closed neck blouse with an inverted U back in brown that also bore the embroidery work on its sleeves.
She accessorized the saree with a pair of pearl-studded gold earrings by Sabyasachi Jewellery. A double-pleated bun with contoured cheeks, a bindi and nude lips completed the look.
