The brand Kankatala has emerged to be one of the most trusted silk saree showrooms in South India. Due to its legacy and specially curated designs, the brand finds a place in every girl’s bridal trousseau. Spreading its wings further, the brand decided to open a branch of its in Delhi. The showroom was inaugurated by Karisma Kapoor who draped on a mustard yellow Kanchipuram from their saree collection for the event.

The Kanchipuram silk brocade saree has its body etched with floral and peacock motifs in Zari all over. However, its korvai border and brocade pallu are drenched in pink. These are also punctuated with floral motifs in zari. It is paired with a matching pink blouse.
Her jewellery included a pair of gold jhumkas, a bangle and a ring by Amrapali Jewels. Braided bun with blushed cheeks, kohl-rimmed eyes, a bindi and pink lips completed the look.
