Yesteryear actress Sumalatha Ambareesh also made an appearance at the SIIMA awards function held last day. While the actress herself had no nominations, she was a proud mom as soon Abhishek won an award for best debutant (Male). For the occasion, she chose to go with a color block saree by Payal Khandwala.

The saree was devoid of any prints or embellishments. However, it did depend on the colour combinations to accentuate its beauty. Therefore, the torso was red in shade with the pallu taking a lime green hue. Its lower took a solid black. The saree also featured a tinge of beige towards its hemline. She paired it with a striped red blouse.
Her jewellery included a set of diamond bangles, a pair of earrings and a long neckpiece with a diamond pendant. Straight hair with blushed cheeks, a bindi, winged eyes and red lips completed the look.
