Designer Shilpa Reddy has been following a tradition of wearing handloom sarees for her chat show “Kankatala Q&A” for some time which are just breathtaking. Keeping up to our expectations, this time Shilpa has shown up in a cream Gadwal cotton saree by Kankatala.
So, the exquisite saree has been woven using indigenous techniques like kumbam and kuppadam where the pallu is woven separately and then joined with the original part. While the body is cream in colour its border has black, gold and red hues decorated on them. Moreover, the tasselled pallu also is in blood red adding to the grandeur of the saree. She paired it with a button-down red collared sleeveless shirt blouse in black.
Shilpa accessorized the splendid saree with simple silver bangles and a pair of statement earrings in red. Her pleated bun, red eye makeup, contoured cheeks and red lips accentuated the overall appearance.
