Aparna Balamurali is undoubtedly one of the best performers of the year 2020. The actress conquered many hearts with her performance in the Suriya starrer, “Soorarai Pootru.”
Aparna, therefore, most deservingly won the JFW awards for best actor female in a lead role. For the award night, she draped on an exquisite red saree by Raw Mango.
Raw Mango sarees are known for discovering the beauty in minimal prints. Aparna’s saree too featured this aspect of the brand. Therefore the chanderi silk saree showcased neem motifs in gold hand-stitched by the Zardozi technique. It also had a gota detailing along its hemline. The matching blouse, on the other hand, had a scalloped hemline with zari detailing on them.
Aparna paired the silk saree with a set of pearl-studded statement jhumkas and a simple bangle by PraDe. The winged eyes with contoured cheeks, red bindi, curly tresses and mauve lipstick completed her retro look.
