With one day to go for Dhanteras, Diwali has officially announced its arrival. It’s that time of the year when all you want to do is dress up and celebrate every moment of the festival especially when we have missed most of them this year.
Actress Dia Mirza posted a photo of hers on Instagram draped in a simple yet festive handwoven linen citrine saree by Anavila.
Not only does its yellow colour make it festive friendly but also the detailed zari on its rim, pallu and hem. The checkered saree comes with a brown selvedge that adds to its beauty.
Dia matched it with a sleeveless blouse of a shade lighter which we say was a smart choice to let the saree take the center stage.
She accessorized herself with a contrasting oxidized silver jhumkas with hair chains pinned to her neatly french braided hair. Dia also wore a set of matching bangles to go with it.
A matte makeup, eyeshadows in brown and silver shades coupled with nude lipstick completed her look.
