Archana Rao’s collection at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer.Resort 2016 “A Petticoat” is inspired by the fictional character Lolita. So the collection is all about delicate fabrics in pastels, sheers, nets constructed to playful fun clothing. The designers idea is to make outerwear clothing inspired by inner wear. Well, the ruffles, appliques and sober pastels definitely projected the summer resort vibe that we were looking for.
