Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi has landed upon the role of a lifetime in the early stages of her career itself. The beauty is part of the magnum opus “Ponniyin Selvan-I” and is expected to earn some rave reviews for her performance in the flick. For the pre-release event in Hyderabad, last day, she wore a purple Kanchipuram saree and we are in love.

The saree is embellished with floral stripes in gold zari all over. However, its border features grid details in gold zari which neutralizes the look. Its pallu is a mixture of both the designs and solid piping. She paired it up with an embroidered stone work elbow-length blouse.
She teamed it up with a pair of stone studded earrings, an heirloom neckpiece and a set of bangles by Kishandas Jewellery. A wavy hairdo with winged eyes, a bindi and nude lips completed the look.
